The U.S. Census Bureau is planning to stop receiving census responses on October 15, which is in response to the U.S. Supreme Court that had initially extended this deadline.
Why is this important?
For every person who’s counted in the 2020 Census, New Mexico will receive $3,745 in federal funds each year for 10 years. That’s $37,000+ over 10 years!
Don’t worry about your immigration status, you can still fill it out!
You can fill out your Census through www.2020census.gov or by calling (844) 330-2020.
