The Fight Is Just Beginning: Join Us TONIGHT For Our We Got Us Network Meeting and Help Us Build What Comes Next

Last week, we brought 150 organizers, community members, and young people together in Santa Fe during our We Got Us Bootcamp before taking to the streets on the Opening Day of the 2026 Legislative Session for our We Got Us Mass Mobilization with 1,500+ young people, community members, and 26 partner organizations.

For four days, we deepened our relationships and solidarity, sharpened our skills, and built capacity for our collective movement during trainings in direct action, policy advocacy, creative resistance, and more. Then, we linked arms in the streets to demand real climate action, investments in care instead of criminalization, economic justice that puts people over profits, and an end to the systems of violence impacting our communities at home and abroad – from the abolition of ICE to the extraction that sacrifices our communities while polluters profit.

Soon, we'll share a full report-back on all that we built together during the Bootcamp and Mass Mobilization – but We Got Us is about more than one march, one rally, or one weekend. Our We Got Us Mass Mobilization was the culmination of months of organizing and days of intensive training, but it was also a launching point for continued action and organizing during the 2026 Legislative Session and beyond.

That work begins today – and we need you in it with us.

TONIGHT: JOIN US FOR OUR FIRST VIRTUAL WE GOT US NETWORK MEETING

Our fight to build the future we know is possible doesn't end when the last training wraps or the final speaker steps off the stage. Join us virtually TODAY, January 26th at 5:30 pm MT for our first We Got Us Network Meeting: a space to celebrate what we accomplished last weekend and continue to build collective power together – across movements, generations, and struggles – as we share resources and opportunities with one another, mobilize to take urgent action, and strategize to apply real, ongoing pressure in the fights ahead.

In the past 26 days alone, we've mourned the murder of Keith Porter, Renee Nicole Good, and Alex Pretti as armed ICE agents continue to terrorize communities from Minneapolis to Albuquerque. We've witnessed U.S. imperialism at work in the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores. We've watched the federal administration walk away from international climate commitments.

This moment calls for us to show up for each other, take action together, and commit to defending and caring for one another long after this week, this month, or this Legislative Session.

During tonight's We Got Us community call, we'll:

✊ Celebrate all that we built together during our We Got Us Bootcamp and Mass Mobilization – and outline how we're turning this momentum into a powerful movement that shows up for our communities when systems fail us.

📢 Make space for our community to share urgent calls to action, resources, and opportunities with each other.

🫶 Continue to build community and solidarity as we strategize to show up for each other in the days, weeks, and months ahead.

🚨 Share important information about the fights that lie ahead and how you can get involved in the fight – from stopping Blackstone's proposed buyout of PNM to advocating for legislation that would help to end New Mexico's complicity in immigrant detention and protect migrant families across our state.
