We Got Us Is Less Than TWO WEEKS Away – What Role Can You Play?

We're less than TWO WEEKS away from the kickoff of We Got Us, a multi-day training bootcamp that will culminate in a mass mobilization at the State Capitol on the Opening Day of the 2026 Legislative Session – and we need your help to make this an impactful weekend of training, solidarity, and collective action. Everyone can play a role - from bringing a potluck dish to marching in the streets.

 

From January 16th-20th, we'll host a series of skill-building trainings in Santa Fe designed to build our collective capacity, deepen our connections across movements, and equip young people and communities across the state and the region to take bold action in 2026 and beyond – with trainings spanning Direct Action 101, De-Escalation and Street Medic Trainings, Policy Advocacy, Creative Resistance, and Legal Observing.

 

Then, on January 20th at 10:30 am, on the Opening Day of the Legislative Session, we'll take our skills to the streets alongside 21+ partner organizations and thousands of community members to flex our collective power and show decision-makers what it looks like when our movements stand together: for climate justice, community care, workers' rights, abolition, migrant justice, and collective liberation for all of us.

 

We're up against rising fascism, U.S. imperialism, climate collapse, corporate control, and escalating attacks on our communities – we need all hands on deck to mobilize our community to take action. Here's how you can support during this critical final stretch:



Mark your calendars to link arms with us in Santa Fe on January 20th for the We Got Us Mass Mobilization at 10:30 am, and organize your friends and family to join you!On Opening Day, thosands of New Mexicans will gather at Santa Fe Plaza at 10:30 am before marching to the Roundhouse together for a powerful rally and mutual aid fair, where we'll hear speeches from across organizations and movements, a live performance from headlining artist Bobby Sanchez, incredible poetry, and more.

Join our Bootcamp and Training Intensive from January 16th-January 19th and learn the skills to take action in the streets as in a street medic, de-escalation or security team member, legal observer, vehicle support, visual arts or song lead role, and raise your voice in the Legislature as a policy advocate.

During an amazing four days of movement activation, capacity building, and collective action, we're inviting members of our community to come together to help strengthen our local ties and organizing networks, welcome participants to Santa Fe, and deepen the grassroots movement building work we need right now.
