WE GOT US:
BOOTCAMP, YOUTH SUMMIT,
MASS MOBILIZATION
We're facing climate collapse, the rise of fascism in plain sight, growing attacks on our communities, and the unraveling of systems that were never built to serve us. It's past time for us to come together across movements, generations, and struggles to care for each other, protect our communities, and show that a different world isn't just possible – it's already being built.

That's why this winter, we're linking arms to create the future we deserve.

In January, YUCCA will host We Got Us – a weekend of training, solidarity, and collective action that will culminate in a mass mobilization at the State Capitol on the Opening Day of the 2026 Legislative Session.

BOOTCAMP
From January 16th-19th, we'll host a We Got Us Multi-Day Bootcamp in Santa Fe, covering everything from direct action 101, to de-escalation and street medic work, policy advocacy, creative tactics, legal observation, and vehicle support.
Together, we'll build our collective capacity, deepen our connections across movements, and equip young people and communities across the state to join us in taking bold action in 2026 and beyond.
YOUTH SUMMIT
On January 19th, as bootcamp participants prepare for Tuesday's Mass Mobilization, we'll also host a We Got Us Youth Summit – a special day of skill-building designed specifically for young people and students ages 13-18.

Throughout the day, participants will take part in interactive workshops focused on direct action, policy advocacy, creative tactics, and youth leadership – creating space for young people to connect, learn, and build the skills to make their voice heard alongside their peers from across the state.
MASS MOBILIZATION
Then, on the Opening Day of the 2026 Legislative Session, we'll take those skills to the streets during a Mass Mobilization to flex our collective power, showing decision-makers what it looks like when our movements stand together for climate justice, community care, workers' rights, abolition, migrant justice, and collective liberation for all of us.
SUPPORT
We're committed to making this weekend as accessible as possible and believe that cost or distance shouldn't be a barrier to participation. Once you register, our team will be in touch to coordinate next steps and share details about support for lodging and travel stipends as we finalize logistics.
