COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Youth United for Climate Crisis Action (YUCCA) is looking to immediately hire a seasoned communications strategist who can lead the organization's internal and external communications work in a way that uplifts the leadership of BIPOC young people and community members, builds power to shift the dominant narrative surrounding extraction, and brings more people into our campaigns, analysis, and collective movement for change. 

YUCCA's Communications Manager will lead and guide the organization's work, including narrative development, campaign communications strategy, engagement with members of the media, and the management of the work of a Communications Coordinator, while contributing to the strategic direction of the organization through work alongside the YUCCA Staff Team.

COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

Youth United for Climate Crisis Action (YUCCA) is immediately seeking to hire a Communications Coordinator to support the organization’s communications work across digital/social media, visual, written, and campaign communications. This role will play a key role in translating YUCCA’s campaigns, demands, and analysis into an engaging, compelling narrative and content while helping to support strong, consistent messaging across the organization.​

As a key member of YUCCA’s growing communications team, the Communications Coordinator will support the organization’s digital, visual, and written communications work in close collaboration with the Communications Manager. This role will support the day-to-day execution of YUCCA's communications, including social media content creation, graphic design, first drafts of written communications, in addition to advancing the organization’s press engagement, campaign communications, and leadership development efforts. This position will be supervised by YUCCA’s Communications Manager and Director.​
